Business History

Founded in 1961, FJP Manufacturing Pty. Ltd. began producing general sheet metal and custom built electrical cabinets in its original premises in Darlington, Sydney. In it’s earlier days, FJP Manufacturing was known as FJ Precision Pty Ltd, as founded by Kevin Johnsen.
The move to our present site took place in 1986. 1993 saw the company expand interstate with the acquisition of Metal Tech Industries in Brisbane. The name change of our predominate Manufacturing business to FJP Manufacturing took place in 2005.

Over recent years, FJP has acquired a number of complementary businesses aimed at providing further service to customers as well as allowing us to provide an increased quality of service.
